The new alre.de went live this week. The design looks familiar, but a lot has changed behind the scenes. Here’s a quick overview of what’s different now.

Elbridge Interface

If you place an order through a wholesaler connected to Elbridge, you can now submit your order directly from your watchlist. Add products to your watchlist, enter the quantity per item, and then click “Submit to Wholesaler.”

Elbridge is a standardized data exchange between manufacturers’ online stores and wholesalers’ ordering systems that many electronics retailers use on a daily basis. For everyone else: It eliminates the need to manually type out order lists.

Wish List

The watchlist now functions as a full-fledged tool. Collect products, specify quantities, and prepare orders. You can also export the list as an Excel file—for example, to share with colleagues or for your own records.

Product Comparison

You can now compare multiple products side by side. Technical data, features, control modes. This is especially useful when a project doesn’t depend on a specific product, but rather on the right specifications for the given application.

Navigation with Product Thumbnails

The navigation menu now displays small preview images in the product categories. Anyone looking for a thermostat and who has a general idea of what it looks like can find it faster this way than by browsing through text-only lists. For experts who are familiar with the product lineup, nothing has changed. For everyone else, it makes things easier.

The product lineup, technical specifications, and pricing structure. The new website is a fresh take on the same product lineup, offering better tools for day-to-day work.
