From October 13 to 15, 2026, gedatec—the new trade fair for electrical, digital, and building technology—will take place at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. It builds on the legacy of belektro and expands it to include the HVAC and roofing trades. We’ll be there in Hall 4.2 at Booth 512. For us, this is a home game: We’ve been manufacturing our controllers in Berlin since 1969, less than ten kilometers from the exhibition grounds.
Key details at a glance:
- gedatec 2026: October 13–15, Berlin ExpoCenter City, Hall 4.2, Booth 512.
- gedatec builds on the legacy of belektro and expands it to include the HVAC and roofing trades.
- alre will demonstrate automatic hydraulic balancing with “Stella” (ZBOOA-010.185), flush-mounted thermostats for all switch frames, and the NOVA thermostat in operation.
Automatic Hydraulic Balancing
Hydraulic balancing is mandatory for new installations and a prerequisite for receiving subsidies. With “Stella,” our electrothermal actuator ZBOOA-010.185, the process runs automatically: The actuator adaptively balances the heating circuits of a heating circuit manifold in underfloor heating systems without any presetting on the valve and without the need for calculation tables on the job site. If you haven’t worked with it yet, stop by our booth—it’s easier to explain in two minutes with a hands-on demonstration than in any data sheet.

Thermostats for any standard switch frame
Our flush-mounted room temperature controllers fit into nearly every standard switch series with the appropriate cover set. For electrical installations, this means: one controller, regardless of which switch series is installed in the building. We have samples in various frames on hand for you to touch and compare.
Flush-Mounted Heating Controllers
NOVA
The NOVA is our new flush-mounted thermostat. It can be integrated into smart home systems, but also works perfectly well without one: If you don’t want a connection, you get a controller that operates efficiently on its own. No account, no mandatory app, and no cloud connection required for basic functionality. We’ll be demonstrating it in action at gedatec.
